IP Pointing IP Pointing enables you to point your domain name to a specific IP (Internet Protocol) address on the Internet. An IP Address is a unique string of numbers, usually shown in groups separated by periods (e.g., 123.123.123.123), that identifies a computer connected to the Internet. It is possible to attach several websites to a single IP address; you can use IP Pointing if your website is the only one attached to an IP address. If it is not the only website then you will need to use Website Redirection as described below.
When to use IP Pointing IP Pointing is a great feature to use if your website has a static IP address. With IP Pointing, visitors moving through your site will always see your domain and the file name of the page they are on, instead of the IP address and file name. When to use Website Redirection You should use Website Redirection (instead of IP Pointing) if:
